Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin. She is a British-Lebanese Barrister and human rights advocate and philanthropist. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her career has earned her international acclaim for her accomplishments in international law as well as in the area in human rights. Her notable clients include Armenia, a nation Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government for the recognition and apology of Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged in 2014, and then married American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. Prior to this, she was already been well known within the legal community because of her capacity to advocate for clients. Her work spans the spectrum of social justice, human rights issues to representing multinational corporations during discussions or in court proceedings regarding federal regulations.
